Nigerian Petroleum Corporation Phone Scam:  The scam involves a mailing from the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation asking for assistance in transferring large sums of money between Nigeria and the USA.  Those agreeing to assist in the transaction are promised a percentage of the total transfer.  To view a copy of the mailing, click herePlease be aware that this invitation is a hoax!!   The National Fraud Information Center is aware of this particular scam.
