Full-time Lateral Transfer Police Officers
The Falmouth Police Department is accepting
applications for civil service full-time lateral transfer permanent officers. We
are currently looking for three patrol positions. Applicants must have a civil
service status under Chapter 31 and be eligible for lateral transfer from a
civil service police department. We are seeking individuals who are highly
motivated, proactive law enforcement officers with community policing
philosophy.
Specialty
Assignments
The Falmouth Police Department has an
authorized strength of 66 full-time sworn police officers. There are over ten
specialty assignments in the Falmouth Police Department which include
Detectives, Drug Task Force, School Resource Officer, Field Training Officers,
Narcotic Detectives, M/C Officers, Mountain Bile Officers, Community Liaison,
Sexual Assault Investigators, Traffic Crash Reconstruction Officers, ATV,
Special Response Team, Honor Guard, Child Safety Seat Technician, Defense
Tactics Instructors and Firearms Instructors.

Salary
The current salary range is $46,544.00 to
$53,082.65. Work schedule is a five and three work week with an eight hour
shift. Opportunity for overtime and police details are available.

population can exceed 100,000.00.
