This year's Falmouth Road Race will be run on Sunday, August 14, 2011 at 10 am.  As in years past, traffic will be restricted from entering Woods Hole and the Falmouth Heights area.  Follow the links below for maps containing the locations and times of these road closings.  Woods Hole and roads along the race route will be opened after the last runner has passed.  Falmouth Heights will stay closed long enough for runners to clear the finish line, and for clean up crews to properly police the area.

Persons traveling from out of town should be aware that Woods Hole will be closed to ALL vehicular traffic at approximately 9:45am.  Persons having reservations for the Steamship Authority ferries should be aware of these times since improper planning could result in missing your ferry, and unnecessary travel delays.

The Falmouth Road Race is a non-alcoholic event, and all laws governing the possession and consumption of alcoholic beverages will be enforced.

Motorists should make every effort to park their vehicles in proper parking areas, as illegally parked vehicles will be towed. Please respect our businesses as many are open on Sunday and need the parking area, including banks (e.g., TD Bank).
